PREPARATION OF TRIVALENT ION DOPED BARIUM CERATE VIA LIQUID PHASE AND ANALYSIS OF THEIR PHASE TRANSITIONS
Single phase of BaCe1.xMxO3.δ (M=Y, Nd, Yb), preparation of which is difficult by solid state reaction method, has successfully been prepared via liquid phase from BaCO3, M2O3 (rare earth oxide) and CeO2 solutions. It has been revealed that crystal system of BaCe1-xYxO3-δ varies from orthorhombic to monoclinic with increase of Y content while that of BaCe1-xNdxO3-δ is orthorhombic regardless of Nd content.
