MIXED POTENTIAL TYPE SENSOR BASED ON La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 SENSING MATERIAL FOR NO2 DETECTION

Electrochemical sensors using tubular yttria-stabilized zerconia (YSZ) and the perovskitetype oxide sensing-electrode (SE) was fabricated and examined for NO2 detection in the temperature range 400~700. La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 (LSC), which is prepared by sol-gel method, shows extreme sensitivity to NO2.The EMF varies linearly as a function of the concentration of NO2 (50~463 ppm) at 450 ℃.
