Temperature Simulation of Agglomerated Nanostructure Particle under Plasma Spraying
The present work deals with the investigation of temperature field of agglomerated nanostructure particle used in thermal spraying. An ideal assumption structure of agglomerated powders was established. A model for analyzing the temperature field of agglomerated Al2O3-13wt.% TiO2 particle was established by ANSYS. The transient temperature profiles have been calculated here. It is found that the temperature profile and penetration depth are strongly dependent on the parameters of porosity and diameter of agglomerated structure particle. Finally, the results of the model are found to be in good agreement with the thermal spraying experimental results.
