Reflection and Recommendations on Chinas Current Environment Control Policies

摘要：

In the 21st century, it is an important trend to strengthen environment control in environmental protection around the world. The paper addressed the background of environment control, analyzed the drawbacks of Chinas current environment controlpolicies which mainly existed in three areas: high enforcement costs of command-control policy; low rates of sewer charge system; light penalty for breaching the law. At the end, the paper put forward the conclusion and solution, that is: we should establish new concept of environment control, strengthen environment control-policies and efficiency analysis, improve the laws and regulations, in order to achieve win-win goal for both environmental protection and economic development.
