Study on the Relationship Between Converting Cultivated Land Back to Forest or Grassland and the Cultivated Land Resource Protection

摘要：

Converting cultivated land back to forest or grassland can cause the reduction of cultivated land in quantity, but simultaneously it may influence cultivated land resource in a positive way. As to the quality of cultivated land, firstly such conversion of cultivated land can be treated as a kind of reserve of cultivated land; secondly such conversion can keep the quality of cultivated land, which is near the one converted, out of debasing; thirdly the improvement of ecological condition and the restraint of natural disasters can enhance the productivity of cultivated land resource to a certain extent. As to the quantity of cultivated land, the cultivated lands conversion can reduce the losing of cultivated land causing by not only land degradation but also natural disasters.
