Strategic Consideration on Upgrading Industries Through Developing Producer Services in the Midwest

摘要：

Factor intensity, value increment, industrial relatedness and industrial fusion are characteristics of producer services. Producer services not only can upgrade the industrial structure, but also can upgrade the single industry. There are fundamental conditions for the development of producer services in the Midwest. Under the financial crisis, these regions can take advantage of the opportunity of the industrial structure adjustment to upgrade industries by developing producer services to reduce the local disparity and achieve the spanning development.
