Study on Commercial Banks Motives and Styles of Credit Withdrawals from Sectors with Heavy Pollution Discharge in China

摘要：

With changes in macro economic environment in China sectors with heavy pollution discharge have been challenged and thus the safety of loans made by commercial banks. A framework of stakeholders is put forward in this paper to analyze the motives, styles and potential hurdles of credit withdrawals from these sectors. It is recommended that banks should deploy their professional advantages to develop more means for indirect withdrawal or expand their green credit to offset related risks.
