Ecological Civilization and Local Environmental Legislation

摘要：

Local environmental legislation is the inherent requirement of the ecological civilization construction. At the present, Chinas local environmental legislation doesnt really reflect the concept of ecological civilization, and there are still some deficiencies in the legislative system, content and implementation effect and so on. To enhance regional competitiveness and sustainable development, local environmental legislation should implement the concept of ecological civilization, accelerate the pace of legislation, and focus on the quality of legislation, also should strengthen regional cooperation and improve the supervision and participation mechanisms, gradually exploring a local environmental legislation road with local characteristics and operability, eventually to promote a virtuous cycle of ecological environment and human and nature living in harmony.
