NOVEL CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS RESEARCH AT QUEENS UNIVERSITY BELFAST
In the past three years, novel cementitious materials research has been active at Queens University (QUB). On-going research includes the alkali-activated fly ash, alkali-activated slag, supersulfated cement and composite cement systems. The application of these systems ranges from construction applications to the immobilisation of nuclear wastes. This paper gives an overview of the current and future research activities.
