Study on Henan Apparel Industrial Clusters
By analyzing formation and development of apparel industrial clusters in Henan Province, we could summarize three elements: regional advantages, labor resources advantages, entrepreneurial spirit; two major driving factors: government policies and market demand. By analyzing the problems in the development of Henan apparel industrial clusters, we could draw a conclusion: there are three major obstacles prevent Henan apparel industrial clusters from farther development: the lack of famous apparel companies and brands, the insufficient specialization of the industrial clusters, high homogeneity in products. It shows that to upgrade Henan apparel industry clusters we must cultivate leading enterprises and famous brands, guide specialization or collaboration, compete in different role and produce differentiation in order to improve the value of attachment.
