Analysis of the Developing Pattern of the Creative City

Hardware and software are Indispensable factors of creative city. Considering the process of city development, the creative citys pattern can be divided into three types, technological-dominant city, cultural-dominant city, and culturaltechnological city. Technological-dominant city emphasize particularly on the hardware, the cultural- dominant city emphasize particularly on the software, and the cultural-technological city focus on both the software and the hardware. On the basis of learning from other foreign cities, the cities in China should develop characteristic and independent innovation. On one hand, keep promoting the technological innovation, on the other hand, boost cultural creation. So develop the creative city by developing the creative industry is a wise choice.
