CLASSIFIED REAL TIME SCHEDULING MECHANISM IN WDM NETWORK
Xiong Huagang@School of Electronics and Information Engineering Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Beijing, China we investigate the efficient scheduling and access controlling mechanism for multiple types of real time service in WDM network. We classify the messages to four types and propose the scheduling mechanism for the periodic real time messages and aperiodic real time messages. The method which surplus bandwidth fragments are used to transmit the aperiodic messages is novel and increases the rates of utilization of channels. The classified scheduling schemes are compared and performances including the real time load rate and probability of the access control are obtained by the theory analysis and the example evaluation.
