Analysis and Validation for the Compatibility of GPS and Galileo Signals
In this paper, taking GPS and Galileo signals for examples, we analyzed the compatibility of these two GNSS systems signals. Spectral separation coefficient (SSC) is an important compatibility factor. Utilizing the simulation tools, we build a generation model of GPS/Galileo signals, and analyze the performance of the signal. Meanwhile, we calculate the SSC and quantization the effect of different transmitted power. Some simulation results are shown in the form of graphics and tables. What we are interested in are the signals from different systems at the same center frequency. Thus, we just take LI (E1) into account. After that, we can easily use the model to complete other signals simulations.
