A Maturity Model for Construction Project Ecological Quality Management
Construction Project ecological quality comprehensively takes the quality of positive output and negative output in the whole project life cycle into consideration. Project ecological quality management (EQM) is a method, which not only satisfies the demand of the different project participants, but also satisfies the sustainable development of ecological environment. This paper aims to assess the project EQM maturity of construction organization, in order to provide a framework and operable process for organization to improve the project EQM capability. On the basis of discussing the definition and principles of EQM, this paper builds an EQM Maturity Model for the construction project combined with the architectonic principles of Project Management Maturity Model. The model constitutes of 3 dimensions, including 5 levels of EQM maturity, different phases in project life cycle, and process areas of quality plan, quality control, quality insurance and quality improvement. It will solve the problem of how to assess the level of construction project EQM ability.
