Study about Economic Incentive Policies of Builds’ Energy Efficiency in Developed Countries

Due to too high proportion about buildings’ energy consumption in social total terminal energy consumption, there have great potentialities in the field of buildings’ energy efficiency; meanwhile, external economic of buildings’ energy efficiency causes the market mechanism “doesn’t work, many countries have taken many active actions to carry out the work of buildings’ energy efficiency. In this paper, the author first introduces specific contents, the patterns and objects of economic incentive policies about buildings’ energy efficiency such as preferential tax policies, financial subsidies policies, preferential loan policies and the fund of buildings’ energy efficiency, which are widely used in developed countries; then the author summarizes some good experiences used for reference when our government draws up economic incentive policies of buildings’ energy efficiency. Above research findings would be useful for governments at all levels to draw up economic incentive policies about energy efficiency improvement of existing heating buildings in northern region of China.
