The Performance of Chinese Real Estate Businesses in Undertaking Social Responsibility in the Background of Financial Crisis

摘要：

The international financial crisis originated from the United States has influenced different countries in different degree. Meanwhile, it reminds people to re-examine the social responsibility undertaken by businesses, for what they do during crisis can better reflect their views about social responsibility than any other time. In this paper, the author firstly makes a review on the various views of social responsibility, and then introduces the performance of businesses in developed countries. The author makes discussion on the influence of financial crisis on Chinese real estate businesses and the overall performance of them in undertaking social responsibility. As a conclusion, the author proposes her own views on corporate social responsibility.
