Evaluation of Land-Use Intensification for the Ferrous Metal City: A Case Study
In initial period of construction, land utilization pattern of ferrous metal cities are formed basically. It has important significance for promoting the healthy sustained development of ferrous metal cities by evaluating and forecasting the level of land-use intensification with scientific methods. Taking Benxi in Liaoning Province,the typical ferrous city in our country, as an example and combining resource exploitation and characteristic of land-use, we establish the system of the assessmental indictors and adopt the fuzzylayer analyse evaluation and grey predicted model to carry on the quantitative evaluation and the tendency forecast separately to Benxi built-up distract land-use intensification. Results show that land-use intensification degree in Benxi has existed difference and fluctuation from 2000 to 2006, but land-use is extremely not intensive as a whole. From 2007 to 2015, land-use intensification degree is on the rise, but land-use is still not intensive as a whole. Therefore, Benxi should take practicable measures to promote the radical transformation of landuse mode.
