Coordination between Village-Town Planning and Land Use Planning in China: A Case Study in Beijing
This paper firstly introduces the necessity of this research to address the contradictions between village-town planning and land use planning. Secondly, based on the existing research results on this field at home and abroad, the external phenomenon and the internal causes of the contradictions are analyzed. Meanwhile, separately from village-town planning system and land use planning system, the relevant factors and contradictions between them are studied, and a systematic approach is built up. Thirdly, on the basis of the empirical case study in a specific area, a theoretical framework and methods for coordination are further discussed. Finally, recommendations to the coordination development are provided.
