Technology on Antitarnish of Paulownia Wood Based on High-Efficiency Utilization of Natural Resources

Paulownia is one of the most important fast-growing species in China and the existing live wood stock volume of paulownia is 0.8 billion m3. However, paulownia wood could discolor easily, which limits its industrial utilization and reduces the economic benefits. Therefore, the new chemical treated technology was applied to prevent paulownia wood from discoloration based on the lower wasterwater and chemical pollution.At the same time, the optimization of the antitarnish technology has been systematically investigated. The results showed that the optimal formula for antitarnish treatment was that: the concentration of the main antitarnish agent, 1.5%; the concentration of the assistant antitarnish agent, 0.05%; the concentration of color protection agent, 1% and the concentration of surfactants 0.1%. And the optimized innovative technology is that time is 6h, pressure is 0.4~0.6Mpa and temperature is 55℃.
