The Development and Utilization of Coal-bed Methane Resources and its Prospects Analysis in China
The coal-bed methane is a kind of harmful gas, but also clean energy, which has been regarded as a type of clean fuel and a chemical of 21st century. Making full use of coal-bed methane resources, changing waste to treasure and turning bane into boon are of great significance for comprehensive utilization of coal resources, optimizing the energy structure and promoting the sustainable development of the coal industry. This paper introduces the significance of coal-bed methane development, expounds the present situation of development and utilization of Chinese CBM resources and the problems and challenges that exist, puts forward some suggestions to speed up countermeasures against the development and utilization of coal-bed methane, and analyzes the prospects of CBM development and utilization.
