On Culture Legacy Conservation for Future Potential Tourism-Case Research from WANNAN Ancient Village
To protect the historical and cultural legacy and make it hand down to generations and at the same time promote the development of local economy is an important and urgent task. Ancient village belongs to historical and cultural legacy. It has abundant historical heritage and rich cultural heritage and it has great value to develop. But there are many shortcomings in its current protection and utilization. Especially under todays rapid development of tourism, constructive damage and disorder development increase the lost and damage of cultural elements of these ancient villages. Wannan ancient village located within the south of Yangtze River, Anhui province. Especially it refers to the living environment and civil constructions such as private residence, memorial temple, schools, and memorial arch, pavilion, and water gap. The central area of it refers to six counties in ex-Huizhou Government, which are Xixian County, Yixian County, Xiuning County, Qimen, Jixi, Wuyuan. So it is also called Huizhou ancient village. With its unique historical charm and well-protected environment, Wannan ancient village becomes a shining part in the chain of Chinese tourism development. This paper is based on the research situation in both China and foreign countries and existing problems; it takes Wannan ancient village as example and gives suggestions and solutions after some experiments analysis.
