The Analysis on Characteristic of Geoheritage Tourism Resources in Jiangzi Province
The regional geological structure of Jiangxi province is divided into Yangzi Plate in north and Huanan Plate in South by Pingxiang-Guangfeng fracture. The abundant Geoheritage resources in Jiangxi province are formed due to the restriction of special structure and influence of geographical environment. According to the type characteristic of Geoheritage resources, the Geoheritages are divided into 7 main classes and 22 subclasses. Selecting 61 representations Geoheritages, the present protection and development are analyzed and the grade of Geoheritages is assessed. The main type of Geoheritages is geomorphologic and water landscape, which comprise 42.62 percent and 21.95 percent of the whole Geoheritages. The number and percent of worldclass landscape is 7 and 11.48 respectively. Combining the regional geological structure and geomorphic unit, the distribution of Geoheritages in Jiangxi province is divided into 6 subareas, and the spatial pattern and subarea characteristic are studied.
