Brief Analysis of Environmental Supervision Regarding Flood Control Projects in the Lower Yellow River
As a brand-new important work in project supervision, Environmental management is the continuance and extension of environmental protection of construction project. The flood control project in the lower reaches of Yellow River is of great importance to flood control safety on the banks of the Yellow River, however, the project construction will have a certain impact on natural environment and social environment. With the economic and social development, as well as scientific and technical progress, especially the scientific concept of development puts forward the Building a harmonious socialist society, which poses a higher requirement on environmental protection, for this reason, the environmental protection measures shall be adopted in the project construction in such a way to exempt or eliminate the impacts which are adverse to the project. With a view to implementing environmental protection measures in accordance with the design requirements of environmental protection and obtaining good effects, the environmental supervision is needed in project construction. This paper expounds objectives, contents, organization system, operation mode, implementation effect, existing issues and recommendations, summarizes and analyses the role of environmental supervision in environmental protection, which renders precious experiences for large-sized or medium-sized hydraulic projects to positively carry out environmental supervision system of construction project.
