Research on River Environmental Water Demand of the Inland River
Based on the actual situation of domestic inland river, the Tarim River as an example, the paper identifies the composition, content and the calculation method of environmental water requirements of Inland River, and uses different methods to calculate the environment water demand of the Tarim River Basin for different types of ecosystem. Then the paper combines with the regional water resource conditions and validates the environment water demand to determine a reasonable value. The results of research have been adopted in water resources integrated planning of the Northwest catchments, and are able to provide important support for the development of comprehensive management of the Tarim River Basin.
