Characteristics, Ezploitation and Protection of the Wetland Ecosystem in Yellow River Delta
The delta wetland ecosystem is vulnerable and at the same time it owns the following functions: protecting rare and precious animals and plants, adjusting water thermal conditions, conserving the silt and so on. For maintaining the ecological environment function in the human behaviors, especially in the delta agriculture development, we need to earnestly consider the wetland ecosystem influence, correctly and prudently process the relations between development and wetland ecology protection. For example, in the eastern area of the Delta, where wetland is concentrated, large-scale agriculture projects are not suitable. In the guarantee delta wetland system existing ecological environment function and under the function premise, reasonably considering the arrangement is suitable including the agricultural related development projects. On one hand, the quantities of Yellow River Delta wetlands are decreasing; on the other hand, the new silted land is growing, and artificial reservoirs in this Delta are gradually increasing as well. Specific studies should be executed on how to adjust these favorable factors and unfavorable trends need.
