Water Resource Management: the Indian Contezt

摘要：

The main theme of the paper is to analyze the water resource management in India with special reference to the Krishna and Godavari river basin in Andhra Pradesh. Management of water resources in India is going to be crucially important to sustain the needs of one billion people. Water management is a composite area with linkages to various sectors of Indian economy including the agricultural, industrial, domestic and household, power, environment, fisheries and transportation sectors.
