Ezploration and Practice of Ecological Water Regulation in Heihe River
In order to solve the outstanding problem of serious ecosystem degeneration and water affair contradiction in Heihe River, the state implements the unified water regulation decision, and carries out the large scale watershed management. Through a unified regulation practices introduction of Heihe River for nine years, after analyzing the upstream vegetation restoration, reasonable water resources allocation of middle reaches and the effects of the downstreaM ecological environment improvement, the suggestions for strategic measures of ecological water regulation have been proposed accordingly. The first is to start the integrated planning of Heihe River as soon as possible. The second is to accelerate the backbone water project construction of Huangzangsi. The third is to start the construction of ecological restoration of JuYanHai area. The fourth is to accelerate the middle river regulation and the channel engineering construction. The fifth is to further improve the water regulation management system and the operational mechanism. The sixth is to constantly improve the science and technology tools. The seventh is to develop fundamental research on Euphrates poplar forests growth patterns.
