Countermeasures and Influence of Human Activities on Environment in the Yellow River Delta
Yellow River Delta is the last river delta to be developed of our country and rich in natural resources. Efficient development of Yellow River Delta ecological economy has been included in the national Eleventh Five-Year Plan. Environmental influence of human activities on Yellow River Delta will be more and more profound with the rapidly growing population and economy in the future. This article analyzes the environmental problems such as shortage of water resources, water and soil pollution, and wetlands degradation actually. In view of maintaining economic and environmental harmony, and keeping Life of the Yellow River Delta Healthy, this study indicates the strategies such as minimuM ecological water consumption, the lower reaches of the Yellow River water and sand diversion, to ensure the regional water use, regulating water policy, emphasis on wetland protection and so on.
