Comparison Research on SWAT Model and Xin anjiang Model Applied in the Yiluo River Basin
SWAT model is a basin-scale semi-distributed hydrological model considering the spatial varieties of soil and land uses, thus widely used in hydrology and water resources. Xin anjiang model is an early-developed hydrological model which has been widely used in China. The catchment controlled by Lushi hydrological station in the Yiluo River Basin is selected as the study area. On the basis of the 30s resolution grid, the digital drainage network is generated and applied by SWAT model and Xin anjiang model to simulate monthly hydrograph from 1990 to 1997. Two indexes, relative error (Re) and the Nash-Suttcliffe coefficient (Ens), are used to evaluate model performance. The results show that both models are good at simulating monthly hydrograph in the study area, and Xin anjiang model shows a slightly better performance than SWAT model.
