Research on Parameter Identification for River Net Numerical Model Using Genetic Algorithm
The simulation of one dimensional river net is to solve the Saint-Venant Equations which contains some parameters. Those parameters are key factors to model precision. So far, the method of parameter adjustment is Trial-and-Error, however, the results are different from people to people, and the Trial-and-Error is a time-consuming and laboursome method. This paper combines the hydrodynamic model and intelligent model which originates from genetic algorithm (GA), in order to supply an intelligent simulation method that can optimize the parameters automatically. Comparing with the existing approaches, this method owns the attributes that the theory is simpler, the dependence on the field data is lower, and the precision is higher. When the optimal parameters are taken into the numerical model, a sound agreement is obtained between simulated results and field data.
