Deposition Characteristics Analysis of Warping Tests on the Lianbo Floodplain in Xiaobeiganliu of the Yellow River
The results show that, the coarse sand of grain size >0.05 mm accounts for 86% in the sludge of the Lower Yellow River. The main purpose of the warping tests in Xiaobeiganliu is depositing the coarse sand of grain size>0.05 mm, reducing uplifting speed of the siltation in the lower reach, and is the important measure for treating the Yellow River sediment. Through the warping tests from 2004 to 2006, on the unfavorable water and sediment conditions in the mainstream of the Yellow River, the test target of depositing coarse sand and discharging the fine is basically achieved, through reasonably arranging and regulating the silt-releasing sluice, overflowing weir on bend, the outlet sluice and the warping area. In the warping area, the coarse sand deposition of grain size>0.05 mm makes up 39.7% of the total, and the sand of grain size>0.025 mm, 72.2% of the total. At the intake of the warping area, the sediment concentration and the grain size of sand is higher, the better, the deposition effect is. In the warping area, depositing coarse sand and discharging the fine is in inverse proportion obviously. Reducing appropriately the depositing proportion of the coarse sand can increase significantly the discharging rate of the fine sand.
