Analysis of Scouring Effect on Yellow River Estuary Channel since Water and Silt Regulation
Since 2002, when YRCC carried out water and silt regulation, estuary channel got scoured, especially the channel upper than Qing 6 cross section, river circumstance also changed greatly. The erosion and deposition of the Yellow River estuary channel is affected by various factors, including water and silt amount, river boundary, river training works, oceanic dynamics and sand bar. This paper makes contrast of water and silt conditions in Lijin station before and after water and silt regulation, analyzes scouring effect of estuary channel through changes of cross section shape, scouring and deposition of estuary reaches and changes of river circumstance, analyzes affecting factors of erosion and deposition, put forwards some accessorial measures to make water and silt regulation bring better scouring effect.
