Practical Possibility to Achieve Safe Water and Maintenance Water Supply in the Region of Krivoy Rog
Heavily antropogeneous loading on ecosystem of the Dnepr River basin resulted in degradation of all ecosystems and in particular to violation access to safe and adequate water and sanitation services in the whole regions of Ukraine. One of most critical in relation to quality of living conditions and quality of water supply is the region of Krivoy Rog supersaturated by mountain enterprises. In work are examined efforts directed to decreasing of possible consequences of conflict events of volley inflow of the muddy by radionuclides mine waters in Zoltaja River, prognostication of possible consequences of such catastrophic situations and study of possibilities of direct influence on flow of incident by application of water protection measures. The practical efforts to mitigate consequences of the protracted catastrophic manmade influence on a water environment and possibilities of gradual maintenance of the water system in the whole region of Krivoy Rog are analyzed in the work.
