Electrolysis-biomedical treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater
The study did not only discuss the degradation effect of pharmaceutical wastewater by electrolysis with biochemical methods, but also did a series of experiments with different electrolysis time, Ph value, electrolytic current, electrolysis plate and the amount of electrolytes to find the best electrolytic condition. Results indicate that if only the use anaerobic-aerobic method is used to treat pharmaceutical wastewater, the ultimately CODcr removal rate can only reach 88.6%. However, at pH=9, keep a constant current of 0.20A in the cycle electrolytic pool, by using cast iron without adding electrolyte, after 25min, water CODcr removal rate can reach 32.5%, the water biodegradability is greatly enhanced. After anaerobic-aerobic biological treatment, the ultimately CODcr can come down to 280mg/l, the removal rate can be up to 98.83%.
