Water quality analysis of TUT reach of Tianjin Outer Ring Sewage River

摘要：

Water samples were collected from TUT (Tianjin University of Technology) reach of Tianjin Outer Ring Sewage River and a three-month water quality monitoring was conducted. The parameters included pH, DO, turbidity, COD, BOD5, TP, TN, heavy metal, chlorophyll, etc. The results showed that on the whole the water quality was worse than class V, and the river was polluted mainly by organic compounds from municipal sewage and agricultural wastewater. Measures are suggested to improve the water quality.
