Biodemulsification for cold rolling emulsion wastewater

摘要：

The biodemulsification of the cold rolling emulsion wastewater was investigated by the biodemulsifier produced by strain JM-1.The research included the effect of the amount of biodemulsifier, demulsification time, agitation speed, temperature, and pH on demulsification. The optimum conditions of the biodemulsification were obtained by the orthogonal test. The untreated emulsion wastewater contained oil concentration 8000mg/L. The discharged water contained oil concentration 18 mg/L by the two step biodemulsification, which was up to GB13456-92 third-class standard of discharge. The biodemulsification method opens up a new way for treating emulsion wastewater.
