Application of soil trench system in rural sewage treatment in Erhai Lake Basin
The application of soil trench system in rural sewage treatment in the rural areas of The Erhai Lake Basin is described. Based on water quality analysis of most soil trench systems, those removal of COD>79%, SS>62%, TN>63% and tP>91% could be achieved while the effluent concentration of COD, TN, TP basically met the first B-standard of GB18918-2002 of China. The operation cost was 0.04-0.1 RMB/m3.
