Advances in Disinfection Technologies of WWTPsTail Water Research

摘要：

Most waste water treatment plants have been adopting traditional disinfection methods for disinfecting tail water. As a great difference appears between the supplying water and the tail water, traditional methods for supply water disinfection could not be applied in tail water perfectly, thus seeking for more efficient, safer, lower costing and more advanced technology, which has been the hot and difficult spot in wastewater treatment. In this review, the present situation of wastewater disinfecting technology was summarized; and the pros and cons of each disinfecting technology were analyzed. The review introduces the concept of synergetic disinfection, summarise and analyse the present situation of synergetic disinfection research in water treatment both home and abroad, and discuss the developing trend of synergetic disinfecting technology in the future WWTPs.
