Application of Artificial Mizing and Aeration Equipments on Ecological Restoration of Polluted Landscape Water
Solar artificial mixing and aeration equipments (SAMAE) utilize circulation, exchange, and disturbance to break the stable circumstance and floating law of blue algae, with a purpose of weakening its advantage of light-and-nutrient intake. Increase of oxygen by SAMAE can improve the anaerobic state of the bottom of eutrophic water, and strength the digestion of aerobic microbes. As a result, the amount of nutrient decreased and the growth of algae was inhibited. By water exchange, redistribution the temperature, dissolved oxygen, and pH in the water body could help the growth of other type of algae, such as green algae and diatom, which will compete with blue algae. Finally, a healthy ecological systeM is built up with algae, bacteria, cladoceran and fish. The water quality in test river has a significant improvement by employing SAMAE from April 2007 to June 2009. Compared with the beginning of 2007, removal efficiencies of TN, TP, and COD in2009 were 67%, 54% and 63% respectively. Turbidity value decreased 46% and colority dropped 45%. In the contrary, DO increased 277%. All the physical, chemical, and biological indicators have reached the standards of landscape water quality (GB/T189212002).
