Analysis on Characteristics and the Spatial Distribution of the Industrial and Domestic Pollution in the 16 Pilot Counties in Haihe River Basin

The main industrial and urban domestic pollutants discharge were calculated, the characteristics and regional distribution of pollutants discharge were analyzed for the 16 pilot counties in Haihe River Basin. It is showed that the industrial COD and NH3-n discharge were 71.7 thousand t, 6.80 thousand t and domestic COD, NH3-N discharge were 23.6 thousand t, 3.94 thousand t, respectively. The 16 pilot counties contribute to the pollutants discharge differently. Decheng, Xinxiang and Fangshan discharged 33.92%, 20.64% and 8.12% COD of total. The chemistry, spinning, paper-making and food are heavy polluting industries. Using the indices of pollutants discharge per unit GDP, pollutants discharge per unit area and pollutants discharge per capita, integrated assessment indicates regional variation in pollutant discharge. The first three are Xinxiang County (in Henan province), Decheng District (in Shandong province) and Hangu District (in Tianjin city). The followed areas are Lucheng City, Fangshan District, Ninghe County, Shexian County, Pinggu District, Miyun County, Tongzhou District, Daxing District, Guantao County, Baodi District, Linzhang County, Feixiang County and Chengan County orderly.
