Study on Regional Water Environmental Management Based on Integration of Land and Sea in Tianjin
Tianjin is a typical large-scale city with water shortage in the north of China. The history, current status and prospective of regional water environmental management and water problems have been studied. It is clear that integrated management of water resource and water environment is necessary to solve the problems called water-quality-led water shortage and water-resource-led water pollution. Therefore, the integration of zoning of water resource and water environment has been done in Tianjin. Furthermore, according to the characteristics of water system in Tianjin, the thought of integrated management of land and sea is proposed. Using the environmental protection of Bohai Sea as system constraint, the management measures for land-based pollution control and potential issues have been discussed. The influences from rapid industrialization in the coastal area and climate change on water environmental management have been also analyzed.
