Estimation and Spatial and Temporal Analysis of Water Productivity of Winter Wheat Based on Remote Sensing
The pressure on water resources is increasing along with rapidly growing regional economy and population. The available water for agriculture production would be less because of the conflict between industrial development and food security. The water productivity, expressed as the production per unit water consumed, is an important index for evaluating the efficiency of water utilization and economic benefit. This study is focused on using the land use data, biomass and evapotranspiration data to estimate the wheats water productivity of Daxing for 20042007.The results show that the multi-year average value of WP 1.05kg/m3 was close to the world average level; Spatially, increased from north to south; Temporally, the extent range of WP has a decentralized to centralized development.
