Study on Simulation of Non-point Sources in Guantao County Based on Distributed Model

SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool) can predict the impact of land management practices on water, sediment and agricultural chemical yields in a complex watersheds with varying soils, land use and management conditions over long periods of time. The study developed Guantao SWAT model based on the modified SWAT with meteorologic data, agricultural management data, land use data and soil data in the year 2002-2005. The non-point pollution in the whole county is simulated. At the same time, fertilization and crop pattern change scenarios simulation is completed and analyzed, the research shows that the fertilizer measures and crop pattern change play great role in non-point pollution load in Guantao county.
