Study on tectonic stress field in the middle part of Hedong coal mine field
Geological structure not only constitutes the dominant factors governing the types of CBM pool and its richness, but also has a certain impact on the burial depth of coal bed and the reservoir quality. Due to the impact of different phases of tectonic stress fields, the surveyed area underwent relatively radical geological deformation. Fault structure scarcely developed, and open folds were predominant in the surveyed area. Although some bending structure occurred, its joints were well-developed. By means of joints, folds and faults, we explored the geological structural features and the characteristics of paleo tectonic stress fields by reconstructing paleo tectonic periods.
