Study on the seepage law of coal-rock fragments in goaf

In order to have a good master to the gas flow and methane emission in goaf, it was presented that the coal-rock fragments in caved zone were in nonsaturation and the reason was also analyzed also. The goaf coal-rock fragments seepage was investigated based on the displacement curve of voussior beam theory in mathematic method, the distribution of caved zone permeability was described as a dustpan type and a semitheoretical equation was derived. The model and equation were put into a CFD simulation software, the simulation result was made out and matched very well comparing to lots of field dates.
