Constructing Blended Learning Courses and Learning Support Services on Public Internet Services: A Case Study
This paper reported a case study in which the researchers developed an blended learning course named Human Cognition and Learning mainly based on public and open internet services. In this case, the researchers used the mashup technology to mix Google Sites, Google Groups, Google Docs, Fanfou and Digu(both are twitter-like micro-blogging services) and several other internet services to publish learning resources and to provide various of learning support services. The paper also explained the advantages together with the disadvantages of such learning infrastructure after the effect analysis. Finally this paper provided some experience and advices on implementing such blended course in open internet environment.
