PLS Application in the Relation of Technology Inputs and Economic Benefits
This paper is devoted to the relationship study between technology inputs and economic benefits by using partial least-squares regression (PLS) method. It is established that scientific and technology production function of three major industries and give comprehensive evaluation on the accuracy of PLs model and variable importance index in projection (VIP), combined with assistant technology of PLS, the definition of the marginal productivity is given out, it is given that some explanations about the regression results and analyze scientific and technological input on the importance of economic growth, and provides some fact and basis and put forward according proposals when China government develops a reasonable scientific and technological development policy and plan under the background of financial crisis.
