Analysis of sentiments and ezpectations in the German Economy
This paper analyses with several PLS models the way sentiments and expectations in the German economy are influenced by major macroeconomic variables. The main conclusion of the study is that the entrepreneurs assess the condition of the economy on the base of real economic development primarily on the productand capital market The explanatory power of the models ranges between R2=0.6 to 0.85 depending on the explaining variables and the time periods.
