Research on Hardware-in-loop Simulation Platform for Application Development of General Construction Machine Controller
According to the blank of construction machine controller a-nd its development platform for variety applications in Chinese construction machine industry, this paper presents a n-ovel, open source, low cost hardware-in-loop simulation platform for the application development of the general construction machine controller(GCMC) implemented by authors lab. This platform consists of three parts. One is the construction machine controller with complete intellectual properties, the second part is the signal converter which transfers t-he status signals from the numeric controlled model (NCM) running on the PC to the GCMC, and transfers the control signals from GCMC to NCM, makes the whole system close loop. The third part is the software platform programmed by Matlab, which runs the NCM by calling dynamic linked library method and provides the post processing by using virtual reality toolbox of Matlab, this software is open source. At the end of this paper, a virtual reality demonstration of the c-ontroller development for the crawler dozer hydraulic drive system is presented.
