Research on a Reverse Engineering Modelling Method for Front Bridge Key Parts

The importance of the reverse engineering(RE)modelling is analysed. The RE data from the scanner are analysed and two type of methods are found. According to the different front bridge key parts, two methods are applied for modelling the parts. Through the work of surface repair, the solidified models are established, which provides the prerequisites for the analysis and simulation. Modelling with the RE data makes it possible to create the complex parts and retain the original features. Such a design method is significant for the car key parts.
